MiniFoodLab
MiniFoodLab can be used to determine the amount of Milk Urea Nitrogen (MUN) and of chlorides in dairy products. . Thanks to its compact dimensions, lightness and the connection cable for vehicles, it can be used to perform tests on-site: in fact, it is possible to measure the content of urea in raw milk drawn from cows in order to determine an appropriate diet for milk animals and improve their health.
System

|
MiniFoodLabis supplied with a 3 year warranty.
|
The analytical system includes:
- A spectrophotometric analyzer with solid state emitters (LEDs) and reading and incubation cells thermostated at 37° C.
- A Kit of pre-vialed, disposable reagents with a low toxicity developed by the research laboratories of CDR and a 12-month shelf-life.
- Pipettes to simplify the collection of the samples.
- Print Manager: software that enables the connection of the analyser to the PC in order to store and print the results of the tests.
- Operator’s manual and functional illustrated sheets.
|
- Simple and fast methods; does not require the preparation of samples, or easy sample preparation procedures
- In line with reference methods
- It minimises waste because it requires very small amounts of sample (5-100 µl) and can be used with all types of matrices
- No maintenance and calibration expenses
Guaranteed Quality
The analytical method developed by CDR and integrated in MiniFoodLab was subjected to several functional tests in order to assess its reliability in determining the amount of urea in the milk of cows, buffalos and sheep. Said tests were conducted by Standard Latte Laboratory (L.S.L.) belonging to Associazione Italiana Allevatori (A.I.A.) – Italian Breeders Association The results of the tests confirmed the excellent sensitivity and repeatability of the system. The chloride analytical method developed by CDR was compared with the reference Volhard method by Neotron laboratory certified by ACCREDIA, that confirmed its excellent reliability.

Analisi
