WineLab: the Revolutionary System for Wine Testing
WineLab is a fast, simple and reliable that guarantees maximum independence.
Thanks to its easiness of use, it can be used directly in winery during all of the wine-making stages even by unskilled personnel. During wine making it is now possible to make fast and safe decisions without using complex chemical methods or sending wine or must samples to external laboratories. Because of the accuracy of its results, its easiness of use, its compact dimensions and its complete panel of tests, WineLab is the ideal solution for oenologists and winemakers .

|
WineLab is supplied with a 3 year warranty.
|
The analytical system includes:
- A spectrophotometric analyzer with solid state emitters (LEDs) and reading and incubation cells thermostated at 37° C.
- A Kit of pre-vialed, disposable reagents with a low toxicity developed by the research laboratories of CDR and a 12-month shelf-life.
- Pipettes to simplify the collection of the samples.
- Print Manager: software that enables the connection of the analyser to the PC in order to store and print the results of the tests.
- Operator’s manual and functional illustrated sheets.
|
It is has been validated by the Istituto per lo Sviluppo Viticolo Enologico ed Agroindustriale (ISVEA) – Institute for the Winegrowing, Winemaking and Agro-industrial Development – which is accredited with ACCREDIA
|
WineLab is able to perform the tests in a few minutes and does not require the samples to be pre-processed.
- Acetic Acid
- Free sulfur dioxide (Free SO2)
- Total sulfur dioxide (Total SO2)
- Malic Acid
- Lactic Acid
- Alcohol content
- Anthocyanins in wine and must
- Polyphenols
- Total Sugar in wine and must
- Colour intensity and tonality
It can be used with the ancillary WineColor analyzer to determine the tonality and intensity of colour by performing photometric readings at 420, 520 and 620 nm.

Simple Methods
The analytical methods of WineLab are simpler as compared to the official ones. Tests can be performed in a few simple steps:
- Select the parameter to measure from the menu: the system automatically selects the correct wavelength
- Use the supplied pipette to add the correct volume of sample to the reagent contained in the cuvette.
- Follow the displayed instructions.
- The result is automatically calculated in a few minutes, displayed and printed by means of the on-board printer.
There is no need to clean containers or other accessories or the traditional “glassware”. It is also possible to run a single test without performing the start-up procedure. The system eliminates the need of having a dedicated laboratory.
The only requirements to run a test are a resting surface and an electrical socket. Tests can be performed in any location without any risk of soiling.
No Technical Support and Maintenance Expenses
- The system is supplied pre-calibrated and does not require complex and regular calibration procedures. The system has been calibrated on the basis of comparative tests carried out using official methods on hundreds of samples.
- The system does not require costly spare parts: the analyser uses LED luminous sources and does not therefore require the maintenance that is usually needed for photometers with tungsten luminous filaments.
Sensitive and Accurate Measuring System
WineLab has been validated by ISVEA, a laboratory certified by ACCREDIA.
